Project By Pat Warble

I just finished this project from Digi Doodle - Circus Train Book with Animals.

I did not do all of the animals as it is for a 2 yr old Great Grandson.

Project By Pam Hanson

This is a project I made for a little four year old girl we know who is battling brain cancer.   I used an In The Hoop Bear Design by Moose B Stitchin and on the blanket for the bear I added the Cancer Awareness Angel Bear by Sew Terific.  The way Teri digitized this design allows you to leave off the ribbon, halo and wings if you wish by skipping those color changes.  The wings on the back of the in the hoop bear I found free on the internet a while back.   I think if I made it again I'd make the free standing wings larger.

The Rose Window is BFC design #879 and was surprisingly easy to

stitch.

I chose the largest size which was 36" across when finished; and the sections were stitched out in the 6x10 hoop on the Quattro.  I like doing QIH projects, so that's the method that was used for this design.

Because I knew the finished project would be hanging on an inside wall, I wanted to make it "pop" so the background fabric used was Fairy Frost "Diamond" which is a black with silver glitter.  Just enough of the glitter shows through to add interest, but not enough to make it look "tacky".

After all of the sections were stitched, I enjoyed putting them together to create what is now a showstopper when people come into our living room.
