Again I had a suggestion from someone to make designs. As you know, I listen :-) The new designs are doilies that have a free-standing tatted edge PLUS they have a free-standing tatted cutwork center. It looks like these should be really hard to do - but they aren't. They are done completely in the hoop. All fabric edges are covered - and when rinsed, you have a beautiful doily. I include detailed instructions so you can make them just like mine. I have them for the 8x8 inch (200x200 mm) hoops, 7 inch hoops (180x300 mm) and the 6 inch hoops (150x240 or 160x260 mm). I made one for my Mother-In-Law for Mother's Day. She was very pleased.

I had a suggestion from someone about some earrings so the new ones are small tatted cross earring designs. Although I designed these as earrings, you can use them other ways too. I think they would be great on the end of a bookmark tassel. These are quite small even though they look larger in my close up pictures. They are about 1-1/4 inch tall. I have them plain and with crystals. I "dressed up" the plains ones by putting a small crystal in the center. The other earrings are made so that you can add crystals to them. I put 2 in a design so that you can have a matching pair. I have these on very special introductory SALE pricing for a while. All designs are sent as email attachments.

I am so excited about these designs! It is a bit hard to show how pretty they are in the pictures. They fit a 6x10 inch (150x240 or 160x260 mm) or 8x8 inch hoop size. The designs are done completely in the hoop! I even include the string design so you can make suncatchers just like I show in my pictures. I have them done 4 ways - plain, with lace background -1 color, with lace background - 2 colors, and with Mylar. I think the designs (without the metal ring) would look great attached to a quilt! You can use these as a doily if you don't want to make the Suncatcher. They are pretty easy to do even though they look like they should be difficult.
